- Project CategoryCCTV Installation
The team at armex were recently employed by Nestle’s ‘Prince’s Gate.’ The firm required extensive CCTV upgrade across four buildings.
Where: Narbeth, Pembrokeshire
Client: Prince’s Gate, Nestle
Work included: Complete CCTV upgrade, supply, install and maintenance.
The current CCTV systems utilised by Prince’s Gate were deemed unsuitable, Hikvision’s Darkfighter PTZ cameras were decided upon as an appropriate solution.
This camera has been designed to thrive in low light applications, at both close and long ranges. Darkfighter possessed the superior functionality required by Prince’s Gate. This allowed the client to perform a remote perimeter of the site, utilising the strategically positioned PTZ cameras.
The client also required a new ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) camera be installed at the visitor’s entrance. This offered the ability to record vehicle number plates upon entry and exit to the site. These ANPR cameras are also compatible with automated security barriers.
Key Results
Previous CCTV solutions utilised by Prince’s Gate struggled to manage the challenges posed by low-light environments. Security footage captured within a darkened environment was deemed ineffective, producing unclear images.
The advanced technology provided by the Darkfighter cameras meant that this problem soon became a thing of the past.
The CCTV installation provided by armex offered a superior performance, effectively capturing footage in both daylight and low-light environments.
This provided the client with complete confidence in their new CCTV system’s ability to deter and protect against criminal activity.
